"Disparar en cuevas, en
términos de técnica
fotográfica, es un reto difícil. Esta foto logra un buen
equilibrio clásico de composición: el modelo está
encuadrado centralmente en relación con su entorno.
Tanto el modelo como el interior de la cueva están
bien iluminados, los detalles de las formaciones de roca son claramente
discernibles. El ambiente de la imagen tiene algo de misterioso
–el resplandor de la linterna frontal, la luz derramándose
más allá del paso hacia el fondo de la cueva, la imagen
fantasmal del hombre proyectándose en la pared de la cueva, y
también los detalles de los muros de roca reflejándose en
el agua."

"Shooting in caves is a tough challenge in terms of photographic
technique. This photo achieves a good, classic balance of composition:
The subject is centrally focused in relation to its environment.
Both
the subject and the inside of the cave are well lit, the details of the
rock formations are clearly readable. The mood of the image is somewhat
mysterious –the glow from the headlamp, the light streaming in from
beyond the passageway toward the bottom of the cave, the man's ghostly
image projecting on the wall of the cave and also the rock walls'
features reflecting in the water."
